Prep for this exam: A two-piece outfit is best since we will need to access your abdominal/pelvic area. Please hydrate well 2-3 days prior to your appointment. This means drinking at least 10-12 glasses of water daily. You do not need to hold your bladder. If your diet allows, do not eat a full meal prior to your appointment and try to eat something with a bit of sugar to help wake baby up.
