Description

Booking: Monday-Friday Only Abdominal Ultrasound is used to view the organs and structures of the abdomen. An abdominal ultrasound is used to evaluate the organs in the upper abdomen such as: pancreas, liver, gallbladder, kidneys, spleen, and abdominal aorta. Reasons for this ultrasound can be for pain and/or bloating. You may also have an abdominal ultrasound for screening of an aortic aneurysm. Prep for Exam: NPO- 6 hrs prior to exam: No smoking or gum chewing 30min prior. May drink small amount of water with meds.
