RUQ- Right Upper Quadrant, CPT 76705

Description

Booking: Monday-Friday Only RUQ (Right Upper Quadrant) Ultrasound is used to evaluate organs in the upper right abdomen: liver, gallbladder, right kidney, pancreas, and CBD. Reasons for this ultrasound can be for pain and/or bloating. Prep for Exam: NPO- 6 hrs prior to exam: No smoking or gum chewing 30min prior. May drink small amount of water with meds.
