Booking: Monday-Friday Only The renal ultrasound is used to evaluate the right and left kidneys, as well as, the bladder. This ultrasound may be used to access the size, location, and shape of the kidneys. We may identify large kidney stones, tumors, fluid collection, and/or infection within or around the kidneys. You may need this ultrasound due to hematuria (blood in your urine) or pain. Prep for Exam: Full Bladder- 32oz of water drank 1hr prior to exam; do not empty your bladder.
